Water Sensor Single or 3 Pack - Leak Detection & Alert
The Xtreme Mats Water Sensor is a compact leak detector that sounds a 100 dB audible alarm when water touches the two metal posts on the bottom. It is sold separately from the mats and fits the dedicated sensor spot on Xtreme Mats under-sink cabinet mats. You can also place it anywhere leaks may startโunder sinks, beside a water heater or HVAC unit, near a washing machine, toilet, boiler, sump pump, or radiator.
- 100 dB alarm alerts you at the first sign of a leak or flooding
- Sealed battery lasts up to 2 years (replace the sensor when the battery weakens or the expiration date on the bottom has passed)
- Simple setupโplace it on the matโs sensor spot or any leak-prone area; no wiring required

- Test semi-annually with a damp paper towel across the two bottom prongs

How do I install the water sensor?

How long does the battery last and do I need to replace it?
NO BATTERIES REQUIRED- The water sensor has a custom battery that lasts up to 2 years.
How do I check the battery?
TEST your water sensor semi-annually to check battery level. Place a damp paper towel across the two prongs on the bottom which will trigger the alarm. If the alarm does not go off or is getting weaker, replace soon.
